Ever since her breakthrough performance on “Britain’s Got Talent” Susan Boyle has become an instant superstar. And this morning (April 22) she was spotted coming home from running errands in Blackburn, Scotland. Boyle sported a less-bushy look following an eyebrow-plucking session as she pulled up to be greeted by a mass of paparazzi. And according to the shutterbugs on the scene, Susan also had a piece of paper with Oprah Winfrey’s PR agent’s phone number on it

Britain’s Got Talent launched a sensation in Susan Boyle, and Simon Cowell is “thrilled to bits.” “She was sitting home a few weeks ago, all alone with her cat, and no one’s ever heard of her, apart from six people,” told Cowell. Continuing on, he said, “And now you’ve got 150 million people daily talking about her in America, and people camped outside her house..That’s incredible, it’s just the most wonderful story.” Boyle was a 47-year-old who shocked and amazed the judges, Cowell and Piers Morgan, while she performed the song “I Dreamed a Dream” on BGT.

The phrase “never judge a book by its cover” seems rather appropriate for Susan Boyle’s recent appearance on the reality TV show “Britain’s Got Talent.” The 47-year-old singer shocked everyone as she stood on stage and belted out “I Dreamed a Dream” on last week’s show and, although there’s talk of a makeover for the “dowdy” woman, Boyle is hesitant.
